I'm working on a crime-noir style comic book and I have a Captain assign a strike-team (consisting of 5 plainclothes) the duty of exercising arrest warrants for certain gang members. For authenticity sake, can you tell me if the LAPD would do something like this, or would they have a SWAT team suit up, in the eventuality of the gangs turning the streets into a freefire zone? Thanks!
