Critical Missing Adult

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 79-year-old Henry Williams.

Mr. Williams was last seen on August 29, 2007, at about 1:15 p.m., at South La Peer Drive and Gregory Way in Beverly Hills, California.

Mr. Williams is African American stands, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a tan shirt, white T-shirt, light green baseball cap with the Huntington Library logo.
Mr. Williams suffers from dementia and is unable to speak.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to contact Los Angeles Police Department, Missing Persons Unit, Detective Lydia Dillard at 213-485-5381. During after hours and on weekends, phone the 24-hour toll free Detective Information Desk at 1-877-LAW-FULL (529-3855).

These posts are heartbreaking. Hopefully, the manufacturers of GPS devices will soon find a way to make it easier and more economical for us to find individuals with impairments. In the midwest winters, people with dementia freeze to death on the prairie when they wander away. Of course, when the technology is readily available, I can count on the ACLU to protect me from becoming my childrens' hostage, ha ha ha!!! But seriously, all these missing people tug at my heartstrings. I hope all my fellow witnesses out there call in any sightings right away...

Is this whole blog nothing but missing persons. MOSTLY. If you look at alot of LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOGS throught the internet they have a wide variety of Police and department business and news. Just about every week i see the department use this site to poster missing persons on it. Don't you have a departmental and divisional web site that this could be used for instead of a milk carton to post missing old persons. Give me a break! Im sure there are alot of police news and things going on in the city and divisions more blog worthy of another MISSING PERSON.
