Hey Bambrick, in 4 months you get short vacation. More time for you to practice your sight alignment, j/k. Glad you and your partner are alright. Stay safe.

The (anti) Police Commission will now find Banbrick's tactics out of policy.

They will say that he shouldn't have pursued an armed gunman.

The P.C. wants a perimeter set up for anyone suspected of running with a gun. Divisional training will be administered.

It's a kindler, gentler LAPD now.

Mr Centurion. I assume you don't know policy or procedures of the LAPD. If you are a police officer, learn them. The Commission only assepts or denies the recomendations made by the Use of Force Review Division and the Cheif of Police. It is U.O.F. that makes those recomendations only after an extensive investigation and a hearing. As a Police Officer, if you want to make a difference why don't you volunteer as a peer person in the hearings. I take it you have never been one. There you will see the exact actions of the officers and you will have an equal voice in the hearing (as the command staff). I encourage you to get involved if you feel so strongly about these issues. I have been a peer person and I have been the cause of many incidents comming back in policy.

Don't blame our stupidity on the Commission. If we do the right thing we will be fine. But if we mess up, stand by.

In case you did not know, or don't know enough about the Commission, we have a new Commission President. Mr. Pacheco is nothing like Mr. Mack.

Officer Bambrick I'm glad your OK and I'm sure you'll be fine. If I get selected to be your peer, be sure that I will fight for you. Based on this article, you did nothing wrong.

Centurion, do your homework before you jump to conclusions.

I agree with you, in the know.

Apparently the PC doesn't realize that due to call load and minimum deployment, a perimeter means the suspect will most likely get away.

Especially if it is early morning (as in this case) 3-6 am, when everyone in the city is submarining at the station.

Dang True, Centurion said that he was j/k, lighten up. They may be buddies and that was something they do. Looks like you need to be next on that vacation list!!! Just a thought...

To "True," LOL, you need glasses. Stay safe. :o)
