ASD has some of the hardest working folks around. No one should forget Officer Charles Perriguey, who was flying overhead during the North Hollywood shootout, and stayed there as his ship was being fired upon! On "fly-alongs" I couldn't believe the intensity of the TFO's, I got a headache just watching what they are responsible for and...no...I didn't loose my cookies.

The next time that we are working morning watch with a total of 3 or 4 units bet on the fact that our leaders will count the Airship, (now with a black and white color scheme), as another "A" car. Stand By!

Very nice ASD, very nice! Yall take care out there. Fly safe & keep our troopers on the street safe.

The color scheme works......

Why don't we also put shop numbers on them. Then the fine citizens of LA who have been empowered to make false and frivilous complaints against officers can beef the pilots and TFO's.

As I live in Canoga Park, I'll get to see these new aircraft in action.[up close, needless to say :)] Things have gotten a lot better here in CP with beefed up patrols. Thanks.

ASD has always been there for patrol. This is a great way to further cement the bond between both entities. Great idea!!! Should have done this along time ago.
