A, straight up.....You guys are heroes...no joke..

what does the line..."Gonzalez also assisted in the CPR process" mean? It takes two: One for compressions (Martinez) and one for breathing (family member). What did Gonzalez do, clear the floor? I'm sure he will get the Medal of Valor along w/his partner though.

Keep up the "quick and competent". I love Good News!

Karen,

Maybe just maybe Ofcr Martinez and Gonzalez would alternate on giving the victim chest compressions. It is tiring to give cpr but you may not know that. So i sugest you take a cpr class and educate yourself.

Good job officers and the family for your efforts in saving a life.

I am the daughter of the "65 year-old family member". I am not sure if this is the proper forum but, I want to Thank the Officers who arrived to assist on giving CPR to my Father. Unfortunately my father never regained consciousness and passed away the following week. These Officers truly went above and beyond the call of duty.

On Behalf of My Mother, Sister, Brother, Grandkids, the entire family, friends and I, would like to thank Officer Martinez, Officer Gonzalez and all the medical staff at LAC-USCMC for giving us the opportunity to say our last goodbyes to our beloved Farther, Abuelito, Brother and Friend.

E. Almader
