OK, 40 officers will be deployed to Hollywood Bl to lower crime there. 50 officers will be re-assigned from throughout the city to work Metro Jail due to the shortage of civilian jailers. 35 officers from throughout the city will be re-assigned to staff security posts at the new headquarters building.

Who is going to handle radio calls for service???

Headline should read: "In the name of public safety in Hollywood and protect the $2 billion investment, LAPD will help ensure the investment continues to grow with interest." However, who is going to pay for it?

Maybe you should call MJ's family or AEG?

Mayor V, Chief Bratton-- appears to be a hypocritcal commentary on behalf of the City.

It should be pointed out that the day this news conference was going on, 4 people were stabbed in the next block and 3 died. Since crime is down it must have just been an off day in the city.
