Hollenbeck,If it's one thing i love to say more than my family name it is that i admire hollenbeck, for three years I have been A part of a prestigious program known as the Los Angeles Police Explorer Program at hollenbeck divison, smelling sweat, gasping for air, growing for thirst on the cement While, hearing my sergeant yell potently " hit the deck!" I could not imagine what i had got myself into. The transition of the previous station to our new 2009 edition represents not only a fresh and new start but a change and i cannot wait but only aspire for positive accomplishments to commence and to only continue. I Can only say that i am utterly Thankful for everyone in my life that pushed and motivated me to stay within this program ,I am honored to have been a part of the flag detail, more of an honor was that i had the privilege to raise the United states American Flag,it was truly an astonishing experience as well as an accomplishment. thank you to everyone whom made it all possible. It's amazing to see and feel a great change of our station. I will leave you with an known fact from few, even though i have seen many of these officers in our station i was unbelievably nervous and could not hold a single thought, but it was amazing.
Thank you .

Why did they dedicate the building to a captain who never even lived in the area?

I'm surprised the Mexican flag wasn't raised instead of the US flag.

With the mariachi bands blasting away, one could have sworn they were in a foreign land.
