Two Teenage Robbers Sought in Koreatown

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a pair of teenagers who robbed and kidnapped a man in the Koreatown on November 2, 2009.
At around 6:20 p.m., two male teens approached a man who was walking on Wilshire and Harvard Boulevards.  One of the teens demanded the victim to turn over his wallet and the other punched him in the face.
Afterwards, the suspects ordered the victim to a nearby Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and demanded he withdraw and undisclosed amount of money from his account.  The suspects then took the victim to another ATM.  While threatening to kill the victim, the suspects demanded him withdraw more money.  The suspects took the victim’s money and escaped on foot.  Detectives believed that no weapon was used during this incident.

Both suspects are described as male Koreans between 16-18 years of age.  The first suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds with close cropped hair.  He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat-shirt, black pants, and black and white shoes.  The second suspect is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs145 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a black cap, a white T-shirt, red and white checkered shorts, and red sandals.
