Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver and the car involved in a hit and run collision, in which a pedestrian was struck last night.
On April 17, 2010, at around 8:25 p.m., a male Hispanic in his 30’s was crossing the street northbound on Victory Boulevard, at the same time a car was travelling eastbound on Victory Boulevard, at the intersection of Willis Avenue. The car struck the man and the driver left the scene failing to stop to render aid and exchange information as required by law.
The man in his 30’s was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries and he is listed in serious condition. There is no further description on the driver or the car.
Anyone with information is asked to call Valley Traffic Division, Officer Scott DeWitt at 818 644-8027. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 877-LAPD-24-7. This is not an accident this is a crime. Hit and Run is a crime. I think you guys should be afforsing the correct title to these stories. Saw another one regarding a hit and run on a bicycle rider too. what's the deal?
