LAPD SAFETY TIPS FOR TEENS / ADULTS
Don’t you ever wonder how many predators are in the world? Did you know that predators sometimes lure their victims online? If I were an LAPD officer, I would tell teenagers just to be safe. I would also tell them to report things that are really inappropriate for children/teenagers and adults.
There are many things adults and children can do to be safe online. I would make sure to give teens the following advice. If you go online on the computer or any game system, make sure you don’t tell anybody your real age and don’t put a picture of someone you’re not. If you do, people might tell you things that are perverted or they might want you to meet them somewhere that nobody goes to anymore like an abandoned place. They might even try to rape you or try to kill you! Also, never tell anyone your personal life online like on MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, Google and even Xbox 360. The reason why is because people can start rumors at school or even around the world on the Internet. It is important that teens follow these rules about being online and most importantly being safe.
If teenagers follow these safety tips and instructions, they will be safe from predators around the world.
