Is there any way to determine crime statistics for a particular neighborhood, other than the crime map? The citywide crime stats don't help in figuring out how safe a particular neighborhood is. Thank you.

Yes, here are the numbers:
Bicyclists kicked: 1
Bicyclists riding in packs, taking up multiple lanes, disregarding the laws and generally being disrespectful to the rest of the community: 1,000 a day.
I hope these stats are helpful...though I am sure you will make an excuse for your behavior.

To obtain crime statistics for a particular neighborhood, it is best to consult with the Senior Lead Officer (SLO) of that area. The SLO will be able to give you pertinent statistics of his/her area from information they obtain from the area/divisions Crime Analysis Detail. The SLO would only need the address to complete the crime statistics request.

The crime statistics are updated daily and are accurate up to the previous day of request.
