Los Angeles: LAPD Valley Traffic Division (VTD) detectives are looking for witnesses to a traffic accident in which a pedestrian was struck and killed while walking down a street.
On Nov. 18, at about 6 p.m., 35-year-old Tujunga resident Van don Fabian Jordan Jr. was walking across Foothill Boulevard mid-block near Esko Avenue when 26-year-old Sunland resident Joe Flint Calles driving a 2002 Jeep Wrangler heading west on Foothill Boulevard struck him.
Los Angeles Fire Department rescue personnel responded to the location and attempted to treat Jordan for his injuries. Just before 6:30 p.m., however, they pronounced him dead at the scene.
Anyone who may have witnessed this traffic accident is asked to contact VTD Detective Amalia Sanchez at 818-644-8033.
