LAPD Promotional Ceremony

Thursday June 6, 2025 –

Woman pinning badge2This morning the newly appointed command staff was sworn into their new assignments and proudly accepted their new badges presented to them by Chief Charlie Beck.  Their friends and family joined them on stage to celebrate this very special occasion. Chief Beck congratulated each of the new command staff with a heartfelt personal introduction. The following command staff was promoted; Deputy Chief Matt Blake, Commander Jeff Bert. The ceremony was held at the Police Administration Building, Ronald F. Deaton Civic Auditorium.
