Comments

It looks like in a few weeks the numbers of homicides/rapes are going to surpass the 2005 numbers!

Wow, so much for the 2nd. safest city.

God forbid the Dodgers win the World Series. The whole town may explode, along with the Con-stat numbers.

So much for the 10% crime reuction goal. I guess it was more like a 10% crime addition goal.

I wouldn't want to be a C.O. right now.

Happy Cop

The LAPD is on target to meet its goal of an 8 percent reduction for 2006, which follows a 10 percent reduction in 2005. Let credit go where it is deserved to the men and women of this Department.

LT,

Tell that 8% business to the robbery/rape/homicide victims, not me.

Violent crime is threw the roof and nothing is being done about it. Plus, we have another 3 months to go.

Sure, the amount of people stealing car radios/bicycles are down (property crimes), that's just because they moved-on to bigger and more violent crimes (armed robbery, rape and homicide).

As for giving out credit where credit is due, I credit the br-ass for demoralizing the troops, thus the incline in rising crime.

The era of 'gotcha' is in full effect and so is the era of the 'drive-by and wave'.....

Happy cop is 100% correct. The troops are demoralized and tired of getting beat up by their own department. It's time for them to support their own and let us do our jobs. Get these bogus complaints and unfair discipline sysytem off our backs and then you will see crime drop past 10%. But according to the brass everything is just fine and happy;). Well it is not and you can tell by the increase in crime. I've been saying it for months that the Chief, his brass and the mayor need to wake up. TREAT YOUR OFFICERS FAIR!!

Sgt Rod, cruise control makes the road you are on too slippery. We want to sponsor the first step of your journey again. Epstein only wants your money. We want your life, because it still matters to us.
