God bless the family of Officer Brown. My prayers are with you and your family. My son was shot 3 months ago in the nearly the same way.Fortunately he has survived,I wish your son had the same chance. We raise our children to be good citizens only to have them gunned down in the streets by these animals. We have to stop this never ending violence.God bless the Brown family.

I am a friend of Stinson Sr., and Stinson Jr. He was my friend & Brother. He was the type of kid that wanted to make a difference in society. He had a smile that touched people and had a presence when he entered a room. He looked just like his dad. (Stinson sr.) Stinson Jr. was a real good football player with southwest college at the time playing the position of OLB (outside linebacker) and Wide Reciever. He was always very respectful to adults and people in general. This COWARD shot Stinson because this was the only way he felt that he could hurt stinson. 'Stinson being 6'2 approx. 280lbs-Lean....This Coward was intimidated and a Bully. Stinson Jr. will be missed by people all over the world...'LITERALLY'...he and his father traveled on different occassion where friends were made and people were touched by meeting him.....REST IN PEACE STINSON AKA (C.J.)...ITS A CELEBRATION FOR HIM GOING TO A BETTER PLACE...BECAUSE WE KNOW HE DID!!.....LOVE ALWAYS AND FOREVER MORE....YOUR BROTHER,
RON 'G.O.'

God Bless Stinson Brown Sr....Rest in Peace..Stinson Jr......You will always be remembered!!!!!

My Blessings are going out to the Stinson Family...I was a Friend of Stinson Jr. I am hurt but I am strong.I just want the family to know Stinson was very inspiratonal. He encouraged my lil Brother to get his academics together so he could play high school football and get a scholar ship. He always made me laugh and I would share the word with Stinson and tell him just to keep praying. the devil is testing this families faith. Just remember in the BIBLE JOB lost everything...But still had the best of all and that was GOD and FAITH. GOD BLESS this FAMILY.

I am one of the many who have been blessed and fortunate to have Stinson Brown Sr. as our D.I. in the LAPD Academy. Although I never met Stinson Jr., they way he would speak of him and described him sounded like a proud father who did everything right to raise his son, especially in a city where there's a lot of violence and the innocent have to look over there shoulder at all times. A wonderful life has been taken away but we now celebrate the life he lived and support our D.I., the man who who says "he loves all people"

I am not an officer, but I am a big supporter of you guys & gals. I just want to say thank you for the work that you do. In addition, I am appalled at how Obama is treating the Boston officer(s). It's not right and he should apologize. The officer(s) was just doing his job and for that, he gets called stupid by the president of the United States.

I know the Brown family. I know Stinson Sr., Stinson Jr., and his mother Denise and sister Lena. I knew Stinson Jr. since he was a little handsome boy thats smile would light up the room. He was a good child that had a good head on his shoulders and was going places. He will be truly missed but never forgotten and I am sure is up in heaven smiling with his grandma and grandpa. God bless the family and my thoughts and prayers our with you. I also hope that the ones that did this to him are put to a swift hard justice!!!

Stinson brown jr was my friend we hung out often he always liked to go out and have fun we went to alot of parties together he never started trouble

I am a friend of Stinson Brown senior, we worked at IPD together. I have lost touch w him if someone could please express my sympathies for the lost of his son and let me know when and where the funeral is, i would appreciate it.

regards gloria commiso

I would like to extend my deepest symphathy for the Brown Family. Officer Brown was once my karate teacher in the Jeopardy program when I was 7 to 10 years of age, he was awesome! He would always bring his son to class to train as well. He is and will always be wonderful teacher and father. I'm now 24 years old, and proud to say that Officer Brown has had a tremendous impact on my life. My thoughts and prayers are with him & the family!

Another good kid gunned down by some complete savage gang member. Time to set in motion operation hammer II, with the CD lifted!
My prayers go out to the Brown family and friends.

This one touches close to home, but is all to common in South Central Los Angeles. How many innocent children do we have to watch get gunned down in our city before we get serious about combating gangs. You need to lift the F/D and fill the gang units with more "qualified" gang cops.

Again my thought and prayers are with the Brown family during this tough time. Keep your chin up Stinson Sr, we are all here for you.

I work with the victim's aunt and my prayers are with the family.Unfortunately, these are the times we live in where people do not value life. I hope the family finds some comfort knowing that his killers were caught immediately.

Our hearts here at S.T.E.V.I.E. (Striving Towards Eradicating Violence In Ennercities)lay heavy in knowing that once again, the Ugly Head of Homicide has touched someone within your family.

We as parents, those of us who instill the core values of GOD, Community, Family, Friends,Love, Humbleness, etc., far to often are the ones who are burying our childen at alarming rates.

I too, know the sting of the Ugly Head of Homicide as it reared and took my only son "STEVIE" on March 26, 2004.

When is enough enough.None of us are immune from this senseless Domestic Urban Terrorism that is destroying our communities and destroying our families.

Officer Stinson nothing is going to help your HEART HEAL, not right now! Continue to lean on GOD for that extra support, he's got you! What helped me and helps me even to this day, is I remember my son in the present tense, because as your son is, he's only a whisper away; present tense!

My heart bleeds for you and your family and please know that we here at S.T.E.V.I.E. avail ourselves to each of you 24-7 as we continue to lift you and your family up in constant prayer.

From the grieving Father,
I would like to take this time and thank all of you for your words of encouragement and prayers. Though this is the toughest thing I've ever experienced my faith has not waivered, I don't have hatred in my heart for the lost and confused kid who murdered my son. Most importantly I'm determined to do Gods will and mentor as many young inner-city yourh as humanly possible. I appreciate you all...

Stinson Brown / Da Law
