Los Angeles. LAPD West Valley Area detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing information in the whereabouts of Perry Pemberton. Pemberton is a convicted felon who walked away during a preliminary hearing for burglary charges after cutting off his GPS ankle tracker.
On October 25, 2011, Pemberton was arrested and charged for six burglaries committed in Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, Valencia, Burbank and Bel Air. At the time these crimes were committed and during his arrest Pemberton was wearing a GPS ankle tracker placed on him by State Parole and was driving a blue 2006 Maserati with a license plate of 6PIX577.
Pemberton is a convicted violent felon and a registered sex offender. After his arrest he was held on $1,100,000.00 bail. At a bail hearing his bail was reduced to $500,000.00. Pemberton posted bail and another GPS ankle tracker was placed on his ankle.
On May, 25, 2012, Pemberton walked away during a recess break before his preliminary hearing and cut off his ankle tracker. A warrant has been issued for him. Pemberton uses the moniker of “KP Money” and frequents rap music studios. He is a member of the Grape Street Crips. He is a serial burglar known to strike throughout Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, and Santa Barbara County.

Perry, this is your next door neighbor, Terri: I sincerely hope that you see this. I feel sad: as a former teacher, I saw a side of you that I sincerely believe is the "real" you. (Just so you know that this is really me, I am going to miss Z's phenomenal cooking.) Heart to heart, as someone who is old enough to have been your teacher, I want to remind you of what you already know, deep within (and no one asked me to write this). It's a short life, and you have a destiny. I don't know what happened that you were distracted from the real reason that you were put on this earth, but it isn't too late for anything. There's no way around this but through it: I want to encourage you to turn yourself in and do the time so you can go forward with the rest of your life. P., especially, is going to need you as he is growing up. As long as you are alive, God will never stop drawing you toward your destiny. At 54 years old, I am still just walking into mine. You are young, and there is still time. Please tell your friend who lost his infant daughter that I have kept him in my thoughts and prayers. Again, no one asked me to post this. I just believe that God put you here for a reason, and that there was a reason why we met. You can do so much good with your life. "Don't look back, you're not going that way."
