This burglary could have been easily prevented if the home owner kept a good guard dog/dogs. Thousands of unwanted dogs are languising in animal shelters waiting to be adopted by some good home owner. All those unwanted dogs are just put to sleep if no one wants them. Its a waste!! Burglars are not likely to burglarize a home with guard dogs around.
