Public's Help Needed for Missing 14-Year Old Girl

(UPDATE)

On September 5, 2008, at around 3:00 a.m., a CHP patrol unit found missing person Andrea Wilson-Smith near Foothill Boulevard and Michillinda Avenue, in Pasadena.  She was taken to LAPD's Northeast Division, where she was picked by her parent.  Investigators still haven't determined why the teen ran away from her home.

Los Angeles:  The family of Andrea Wilson-Smith and the Los Angeles Police Department request the public's help in locating 14-year old Andrea.

Andrea was last seen on September 2, 2008, in the 10500 block of Saint Andrews Place in Los Angeles.

Andrea has black hair and brown eyes.  She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a black tank top, white basketball shorts and black Nike tennis shoes.
