Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Area Detectives are asking for
the public’s help in their investigation of an attempt kidnapping in the
Tujunga area. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2013, around 2 p.m., in the 6600 block of Olcott Street. The suspect driving a dirty sun faded tan or burnt orange medium sized SUV with torn tan or grey interior seats and large rims and tires followed several young girls who were walking near Mountain View Elementary School. He waited until one of the girls was alone and offered to give her a ride. The suspect exited his vehicle and attempted to forcibly place the eleven year old victim into his vehicle. The victim screamed for help which caused the suspect to release her and flee the scene. ![]() Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact LAPD Foothill Area Detectives at (818) 834-3115. Being a student at mt.lukens continuation I believe that there should be more police men roaming around all the time because it's really easy for somebody to get approached because there are very few people that are on the streets, just walking home from school is very uncomfortable because since we get out at 12:30 there is nobody out and you don't even see any cop cars roaming around, you see cop car parked with nobody in them but that's about it, I think seriously LAPD should step up their game and roam around everywhere especially near the schools and school areas

I understand your concern AJ, but have you ever heard of the punctuation mark called a PERIOD! And do you know what a run-on sentence is? If not, look at your post because you violated some serious English rules....ijs.
