Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Central Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public's help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in a hit and run collision between a vehicle and two pedestrians.
On Wednesday, January 7, 2015, around 7:45 a.m., Central Traffic Division Officers were called to investigate a hit-and-run traffic collision that occurred on Beverly Boulevard, just east of Robinson Street.
The suspect's car, possibly an older model gray Lincoln Navigator, was traveling eastbound on Beverly Boulevard when it collided with two pedestrians crossing northbound on Beverly Boulevard.
The suspect continued eastbound on Beverly Boulevard without rendering aid or exchanging information, in violation of 20001VC, Hit and Run Felony.
Both victims, 48-year-old Emma Cermeno a resident of the city of Los Angeles, and her 5-year-old grandson were transported to local hospitals by LAFD paramedics where they received medical treatment. Cermeno is listed in stable condition however her grandson is in serious condition.
