Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers will soon be equipped with On-Body Cameras to record interactions with members of the public. The members of the Los Angeles Police Commission will be holding two public hearings to provide an opportunity for the community to provide input relative to the development of the policy that will govern the use of the cameras by officers.
This will be an opportunity for the public to provide direct input to the Police Commission for their consideration as the policy is developed by the LAPD. Police Commission President Steve Soboroff stated, “We want to hear from the public what they want us to ask the Department as the policy is being developed. Public input is important to gaining and keeping the public’s trust as we use this new technology.”

Why does LAPD limit the use of questions on the survey? Can you guys not respond to real questions? Or are the questions too difficult for you to understand? Why is there no comment section?
